University research has identified a number of risk factors that appear to contribute to falls in the elderly population.
These factors include poor joint perception, tight muscles (particularly the hip and calf muscles), poor muscle strength and reaction time (particularly in the calf muscles) and a heavy reliance on the visual component of balance.
Our programs address all these factors and more to help the old chooks feel like spring chickens again and in the process significantly reduce the risk of falls and their consequences.
